Overview: Kanban board:

 

Kanboan board allow its users to visualise their work and to track the work based on its status. The Kanban board is very intutive and allow the user to drag-drop the tiles of the task from one status to another. The kanban board also allow its users to use multiple filters in order to prioritise their work and manage it easily. 

The board also display information on a tile of the task with assignment, Internal due date, Type of task, Task linked to sub-task, filter and more. The kanban board also allow its users to update the timesheet when the user move the task from one status to another. The details of each funcitons are described in its own sections.

Component of Kanban board:

 

• Search : 
  • Search panel allow the user to perform any keyword search. The search will display the keyword entered in the search. The entered key word will filter the task or sub-task which are on the kanban board. Its an easy way to perform the search with any text possible. 
    • For example: Name of the person, title of the task, title of the sub-task, Task code, task type, text of the task & more
• Name filters (circle) : 
  • The name circle filters are the fielters which are in dark blue & grey color. Where on selecting the filter circle of the name the task/sub task which are assigned to the selected person name will be filtered and displayed. This allows the logged in user to check the task assigned to selected person & the status of the task. This come easy for the users to check the status of the task & work on the task/sub task which the user could intend to.
    • Note: by default the first name circle will be of the logged in user which will be pre-selected.
• Company drop down : 
  • Company drop down & search with the text allow the user to search the company directly to filter the kanban board to see if there are any task or sub task related to filtered company exist or not. This is to narow down the task filters to work efficiently. 
• My Filter (icon): 
  • My Filter icon allow the logged in user to filter all the task / sub task which are assigned to the logged in user in one press of the button. This way the user click on the my filter and verify the task / sub-task assigned only to him to perform his acitivities. 
• Calendar pick list: 
  • Arrow to move forward / backward 
• Re-set / Refresh (icon): 
  • The reset/refresh of the button function is to refresh all the filters which was applied by the logged in user. If the filters are not refreshed then it will continue to remain as is. Once the filters are applied the user can press to remove this filter.
